My story with music began a little differently than most. I wasn’t brought up in guitar circles with a family band- (although my dad is a fantastic blues pianist). In fact it wasn’t until I was 21 and told in no uncertain terms I was going blind from a degenerative retinal disease that I was confronted with the realization that my masters in Math probably wasn’t going to serve me very well for much longer.
It was then that I picked up a guitar, and a hobby slowly became an obsession, and an obsession a passion. Now you can find me playing live as a full-time singer-songwriter and producer based in Oak Ridge, North Carolina where I live with my wife Emma, and our two toddlers that keep our house full of things to trip on and be immensely grateful for.
Check out my other project The Ghosts of Liberty with my wife Emma as the lead singer- here.
